Über CPLA :
CPLA (Crystallized Polylactic Acid) ist ein Derivat von PLA (Polymilchsäure), einem Biokunststoff, der aus leicht nachwachsenden Rohstoffen wie Maisstärke oder Zuckerrohr gewonnen werden kann. Durch den Kristallisationsprozess in CPLA werden die Zähigkeit und die Hitzebeständigkeit des Materials erhöht, so dass dieser Biokunststoff für Hochtemperaturanwendungen wie z. B. Besteck verwendet werden kann, da die herkömmliche PLA sonst erweichen oder sich verformen würde.
Biodegradable and Compostable BPI Certified CPLA Cutlery:
CPLA-Besteck wird aus pflanzlichen Rohstoffen wie Maisstärke hergestellt, ist BPI-zertifiziert (100%), innerhalb von 90 Tagen industriell kompostierbar und kann in industriellen Kompostieranlagen vollständig abgebaut werden. Auf jeder unserer kunststofffreien Gabeln, Löffel und Messer ist "kompostierbar" eingeprägt.
Hitzebeständigkeit:
CPLA-Bestecke sind hitzebeständiger als PLA und können Temperaturen von 85 °C bis 100 °C (185 °F bis 212 °F) standhalten.
Langlebigkeit und Stärke:
CPLA-Besteck ist äußerst robust und langlebig. Sie müssen sich keine Sorgen mehr machen, dass zerbrechliches Plastik- oder Holzbesteck leicht zerbricht. What is Cornstarch Cutlery:
Maisstärkebesteck wird aus Maisstärkepulver unter Zugabe anderer Zusatzstoffe (wie PBS, PP, leichtes Kalziumkarbonat, Talkumpulver, niedermolekulares Polyethylen und andere) hergestellt; Produktionsprozess: Materialmischung, Granulierung, Spritzgießen und Formgebung, Verpackung. Im Vergleich zu CPLA hat es ein höheres Kosten-Nutzen-Verhältnis.
Umweltverträglich und kompostierbar:
Maisstärke-Besteck wird aus pflanzlichen Rohstoffen wie Maisstärke und anderen Rezepturen hergestellt, ist BPI-zertifiziert 100% kompostierbar und kann in industriellen Kompostieranlagen 120 Tage lang abgebaut werden.
Hitzebeständigkeit:
Besteck aus Maisstärke ist hitzebeständiger als herkömmlicher Kunststoff, da es Temperaturen von 85-120 °C standhält.

Produktionsprozess
To keep the quality and eco-friendliness of the Compostable Spork, the production involves several stages:
- Materialmischung: Cornstarch and other biodegradable materials are mixed.
- Körnung: The sewer is later used as one ingredient in the mixture that joins in a powdered form, and therefore bulk mixture is later joined in a silo or batch style production.
- Spritzgießen & Stilformen: The second operation, style molding, is performed following the granules being injected into molds followed by cooling causing the lump to keep its shape as that of the biodegradable spork.
- Verpacken: The final stage in the production process is packing the products or at least some of them and holding them till they are to be sold.
